Stand on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and the back of your heel, then measure the gap. Enter the longer foot, ideally measured in the evening.
How it works
The UK scale is built on the barleycorn (one third of an inch, 0.847 cm). We anchor it to UK 6 = 24.4 cm of foot length and add one size step per 0.847 cm. EU sizes use Paris points: 1.5 × (foot length + 1.7 cm of toe room). US men’s sizes are UK + 1 and US women’s are UK + 2. Japan uses the foot length in centimetres.
Results are rounded to the nearest half size. “Roomy” adds 0.5 cm of toe room for running and gym shoes.

Is Indian shoe size the same as UK?
Yes. Indian brands such as Bata, Liberty and Woodland use UK/India sizing.
Should I size up for sneakers?
Many people like half a size more in running shoes because feet swell during exercise. The Roomy option does this for you.
